SWAN - (Something for Women Alone Now)
Many women find themselves alone now, as a result of the death of their partner, or from divorce. 'Swan' is a group for ladies who would like a chance to go out and need someone to go with.
'Swan' is a handy acrostic to explain what we are about, but also symbolic of the life we live - calm on the outside, but frantic paddling going on underneath just to stay afloat.
The Newport SWAN Group launched
on 23rd November 2011 at:
The Riverside Theatre Newport
meeting in the cafe at 10.30 a.m. to 12.00 noon
If you are interested in joining the group or would like to find out about any forthcoming events, please contact Ann Nias on 01633 880619.
