Tovey Bros operates out of an elegant Grade II listed building which has undergone complete refurbishment within the last few years. Our on-site service chapel seats up to 60 people, has an organ and CD player and is fully air-conditioned. For larger funerals there is the facility to provide standing room for a further 40 people in an ante-room where the service can be relayed via our sound system. There is also a loop system for the hard of hearing (switch hearing aid to the 'T' setting) so that everyone can hear what's happening and participate.
For funerals of more than 100 people, it is recommended that an alternative venue is sourced for the actual service.
In addition to our service chapel, our funeral home also has two repose chapels where your loved one can remain peacefully until the funeral. Arrangements can be made for family members to sit with the deceased if this is required but we do ask that you ring to make an appointment.
We have four family rooms where we are happy to meet with you to discuss funeral arrangements or any other aspect of your loved one's passing.
Our building has parking for approximately 20 cars. There is an additional disabled parking space and wheelchair access. *Unfortunately, we are unable to provide disabled toilet facilities at this time.
