Do you know what kind of funeral your parents want? Have you told your children what kind of funeral you want? If you haven't then you aren't alone. Most people just don't discuss this, their last rite of passage, with those who are nearest and dearest to them, mainly due to a fear of upsetting others or because they don't wish to appear morbid. But a pre-planned funeral can lift some of the burden off the family left behind who may well be in shock or very distressed at your passing and not in the best frame of mind to give you the kind of funeral they would have wanted to in retrospect. To have something to work from can be a huge relief.
Funeral plans would ideally be arranged alongside a will. Having a will in place gives peace of mind and can avoid undue delay or expense when it comes to carrying out your wishes and we would like to offer our clients a list of local contacts, who are familiar with our funeral plans and who would be able to help with will preparation and advice.
