Our links with the Muslim community in Newport are especially strong, going back several decades, and we are well able to meet the unique requirements of the Islamic faith regarding death.
We also regularly provide services for the Jewish community and work closely with the community representative and the Rabbi to ensure we follow the correct procedures which need to be adhered to in order to meet the special requirements of the Jewish faith.
If the deceased was not a regular practitioner of a particular faith, but the family wants a religious funeral, then, in most cases, this is possible to arrange. Speak to Tovey Bros for advice or contact the venue where you would like the funeral to be held to discuss it directly.
For people who do not want a religious occasion, Tovey Bros can arrange a humanist or civil ceremony with either a non-religious celebrant or family and friends leading the service.
