‘Babs’

It is with great sadness we share that Babs passed away peacefully in The Royal Gwent Hospital on 19th July 2025, aged 78 years, surrounded by her grandchildren and her partner Keith. She was greatly loved and will be missed by all.
Babs was a British Women’s Grass Track race champion, co-founder of the Ponthir Motorcycle Club, and chief Marshall of her local Scrambling Club.
Funeral is on 15th September 2025, 12.45pm at Lodge Farm Church, Caerleon, followed by cremation at Langstone Vale at 2.00pm, after which the family invite you to join them for a celebration of Babsie’s life at The Star, Ponthir.
