On 24 July, after a long illness borne with dignity and courage, Malcom James Montgomery, aged 79 years, husband to the late Mary Montgomery, passed away peacefully.

Much loved father to Stuart, Andrea and Greg; Father in law to Siân, Mike and Kay; Grandad to all his grandchildren and brother to Terry.

Our most grateful thanks to all at the Royal Gwent Hospital who cared for Dad, particularly the staff on B6 North Ward and Medical Day Care Unit, for the outstanding and dedicated care they gave him and for their kindness to his family.

Rest in peace now Dad, reunited with Mum.

The funeral service will be held at St Patrick’s RC church, Cromwell Road, Newport, on 12th August at 11am.
