It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and Abuelo, Ramon Fernandez-Gomez, who passed away peacefully at Nevill Hall Hospital on 26th July 2026. Although our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing that Ramon is now at peace.

A Service to celebrate Ramon’s life will be held at St Mary’s Church, Usk, on Friday 28th August at 12.30pm, to which all family and friends are invited. This will be followed by a private family cremation.

After the service, the family warmly invite everyone to join them at Glen-Yr-Afon House Hotel to continue celebrating Ramon’s life and share memories together.

Those attending are kindly asked to wear traditional funeral attire, with a touch of red, green or yellow in honour of Ramon’s beloved Andalusia, Spain.

The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks – gracias – to everyone for the love, support and kindness shown during this difficult time.

Ramon will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever in our hearts.
