“CONGO”

Peacefully at home with his wife, Rob “Congo” Jones of Llanishen Cardiff, (formerly Barry) passed away on Wednesday 24th June 2026. He leaves behind his wife of almost 56 years Jan, daughters Kirsty, Lucy and Amy and grandchildren Joseph, Ellie, Tomos, Isabelle, Evie and Maisie. So much love and so many memories of a life well lived. Rest in peace and rock on.
There will be a private family service at Llanishen Methodist Church on Friday 31st July 2026 followed by Committal Service at 2.30pm at Thornhill Crematorium.
All are welcome to attend at the crematorium. Family flowers only please and donations are gratefully accepted for City Hospice and may be given at the service or sent to Tovey Bros, 9/11 Cardiff Road, Newport, NP20 2EH
