Carrie lived with cancer for 4 years.
She redefined the logic of it.
She refused to let it be the story.
She wrote her own story instead.

Her greatest purpose, her greatest joy, was being a mum to Maxwell and Jaxon, and a wife to Mike.
She loved them with everything she had.
She held babies with ease – Carrie was born to be a mother.
She made a home full of laughter, and she showed us all what it means to love deeply.

Carrie also leaves a legacy that reaches far beyond our family.
Through social media awareness and charity fundraising, she used her voice to help others, to inform, to connect, and to bring people together.

We remember Carrie for her kindness, her strength, her humour, and for the beautiful life she built with Mike, Maxwell and Jaxon.
She lived fully. She loved fully.
And the love she gave will live on in all of us.

Carrie was a traditional and pure soul.
In keeping with her wishes, we ask that you please wear black to her funeral.

A service to celebrate Carrie’s life will be held at The House Community Church, Stow Hill, Newport on Thursday 24th September at 10.30am followed by burial at Llwyncelyn Cemetery, Cwmbran.

Donations in Carrie’s memory are being received for St David’s Hospice Care, in recognition of their wonderful care and support. These may be given at the service, donated online using the link below or sent c/o Tovey Bros, 9/11 Cardiff Road, Newport, NP20 2EH.
