Whilst the modern world brings about natural change, there is still a huge demand for what is deemed a traditional funeral.
By far our most popular request, the traditional funeral we offer can be as simplistic or detailed as you wish. Our dedicated and caring funeral directors can help you plan a fitting tribute to a loved one which includes all of the aspects you would expect from a traditional funeral.
From our Grade II listed building, our on-site service chapel seats up to 60 people complete with an organ, AV support and air-conditioning. For larger funerals, there is the facility to provide standing room for a further 40 people in an ante-room where the service can be relayed via our sound system.
We cater for the hard of hearing, with a loop system available. We ask those who use it hearing aids to switch to the T setting. This ensures all attendees can hear the service and not miss out on paying their respects.
For funerals of more than 100 people, it is recommended that an alternative venue is sourced for the service. We are more than happy to help with this.
We have repose chapels on-site where your loved one can remain peacefully until the funeral. We can accommodate visits that suit you but we do request appointments are made ahead of time.
We are extremely mindful of the sensitive nature of our discussions and to that end, we have four family rooms that are completely private which you are welcome to use.
We have a car park to the rear and side of our property with 20 spaces. Disabled parking and access to the building is offered, too. We regret that we are not able to offer disabled toilet facilities at the present time due to restrictions of a listed building.
