Brian Murphy, aged 86, passed away on 1 September 2026 and is now at peace.

Beloved husband of Marian for 63 years, much-loved father of Helen and her partner Ian, grandfather of Rhian, Abby her partner Mathieu, and great-grandson Evan
Brian will be sorely missed by Marian and all his family, his many friends, former Post Office colleagues, and fellow Newport County supporters.

His funeral will take place on Wednesday 23rd September 2026 at 2.00pm at St Marys Church Malpas , followed by cremation at Gwent Crematorium at 3.00pm.
A celebration of Brian’s life will be held following the service.
