On the 10th of August despite great care from the emergency department of Grange University Hospital, Glyn Jones sadly passed away. A former Llanwern steel worker. Devoted husband of Chris, loving dad to Anne and Mike, grandad to Bethan, Max, Jackson and Aaron and partners. GG (Great Grandad) of Finnley and Kodie.
“If tears could build a stairway and memories build a bridge, we would climb right up to heaven and bring you home again”.
The funeral will take place on Wednesday 23rd September 2026 at 12:00 at Gwent Crematorium. There will be refreshments afterwards at Greenmeadow Golf and Country Club. Please wear a splash of red !
