It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hilary Jean Featherstone, aged 67 years, who passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at home.

Hilary was a loving wife to John, precious mum to Joanne, Catherine, and Ryan. Loved mother-in-law to James and David and an adored ‘Nanny Hils’ to her three grandchildren Isla, Harrison and Charlie who meant the world to her.

Hilary was also an adored sister-in-law and best friend to Mary, they were inseparable and always up to mischief.

She will be missed greatly by all her family.

A service to celebrate Hilary’s life will be held at Langstone Vale Crematorium on Friday 11th of September at 10:30am.

Those attending are kindly asked to wear traditional funeral attire. A splash of colour is welcomed to celebrate Hilary’s bright and wonderful personality.

Flowers are welcome, or if preferred, donations in lieu for Diabetes UK can be given at the service or sent c/o Tovey Bros, 9-11 Cardiff Road, Newport. NP20 2EH

Following the service all are welcome to join the family at The Ship Inn, Caerleon for light refreshments.
