Peacefully in hospital at the age of 91 years, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Olwyn, dear father of John and Ann-Marie, father-in-law of Tim and Jane and cherished grandpa of Owen, William, Ffion and Sophia. A brilliant teacher and headteacher, he was a man who dedicated so much of his life to others, particularly in the field of education and sport, especially Welsh cricket. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends but will remain forever in our hearts. God bless.
Funeral Monday 1st June, service at Newport Cathedral, St Woolos at 2pm followed by cremation at Langstone Vale Crematorium. Please wear cricket ties or a hint of yellow. Family flowers only please.
